Game Art
My project from my advance character modeling class. Dr. Rau is my first in a planned series of toon style characters. I invision this series as a fighting game roster. Dr.Rau is a mad scientist with overwhelming phisical strength and uses his massive bone saw in combat.

Dr. Rau
This monster is the first character that I have made in ZBrush. Following the modeling was texturing in Substance Painter and rendering in Marmoset. It initially started as a concept of my own interpretation of the Grim Reaper.
I thought about the different perceptions of death as an event. Death is often associated with either old age, sickness, and injurie, but for my interpretation I wanted to make it the personification of a violent disgusting death.
Thus I gave it the proper title, Reaper of Violent Demise.
This project was where I found a passion for 3D modeling in ZBrush.
Reaper

A tech art assignment at SCAD with a focus on material transformations and particles. This project incorperates creature modeling, tech art, enviornment modeling, rigging and 3D animation. For this project I wanted to have a Basilisk travel across a swamp I created and change color as it sheds its skin. Using mythologies about the Basilisk being a god of death, I decided to make all the grass it travels across wither and die with skulls and cross bones to sell the idea.

Graveyard
My stylized graveyard was a creative journey of researching and crafting unique graveyard props and structures. My goal was to create an environment with shape and esthetic qualities like that of a fantasy or cartoon while still adhering to the traditionally grim atmosphere of a graveyard. To achieve my goal, I self tought myself how to use substance painter while working on the project. Every prop in my enviornment served as a playground to explore the creative possibilities within Substance Painter.
